Our People

Simon White

Simon White is one of the two founding partners of the firm in 1981. Simon received his Bachelor of Laws in 1978. He was an Articled Clerk in 1978. In 1979 he was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of South Australia. In 1979, he became the Associate to a Supreme Court Judge.

Since 1981, Simon has been involved in all areas of the firm’s practice and is the practice managing partner. In heading the firm Simon continues a strong family legal tradition and has a strong commitment to excellence in legal work.

His principal areas of practise are Litigation, Injuries Claims, Estate and Family Law.

Guy White

Guy White joined White Berman in 1984 and became a partner in 1987. Guy completed his Bachelor of Laws in 1980 and undertook a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1981. He then worked as an Associate for a Supreme Court Judge in 1981 and 1982.

Guy has a personable but efficient approach to the law. For over 25 years, he has been advising clients in the areas of Family and De facto Law, Wills, Estates and Inheritance Claims.

Natasha Grant

Natasha Grant joined White Berman in 2003. Natasha completed her Bachelor of Laws at Adelaide University in 1999. Since then, she has continuously worked in private practice focussing her skills and attention principally in the area of Family Law dealing both with married and de facto couples in financial and children’s matters. Natasha is a competent and compassionate lawyer who strives to obtain the best possible results for her clients. In addition to her legal skills, Natasha is also fluent in the Greek language.

Jodie Washington

Although initially pursuing an interest in Health Sciences and Criminology at University, Jodie Washington found the pervasive nature of law hard to ignore. Since graduating from Flinders University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honours) Jodie has spent her professional career at White Berman.

Jodie provides understanding and considered advice to clients at all times. Jodie’s principal areas of practise include Family Law (predominantly children’s issues), Wills & Estates, Criminal Law, Accident and Injury Claims and Conveyancing.
